Whoop Whoop! I got 36 leads! Well technically it happened between last night and today, but when I woke up this morning to check my list, I saw this:

Pretty cool, huh? Definitely feels good.

I got these leads by finally doing my solo ad! I ordered 100 clicks and got 36 subscribers. That’s not too shabby! The point of doing a solo ad is to get subscribers — time will tell whether these will convert to sales. Sometimes you get immediate sales, sometimes you don’t.

I changed up the copy that I did on the ad. I’m going to keep it; I think so far it’s working. I’ll let it run for some time to see if I’m right.

Other news? Your girl is cooking with gas! I completed all but 2 items on my DMO list!!! Now, truth be told, I get a little crazy with the to-dos and I separate tasks to check them off, but still – I got stuff done. That included all my social media postings, writing a blog post, PROSPECTING (I know!), follow/un-follow Twitter, following up….ALL OF IT.

I was so proud of myself, I took the evening off.

These tasks are taking less time to do than they used to. Part of it is me getting to be more efficient. Part of it is that ideas for content are coming to me quicker as I participate in a bunch of networking groups and I get ideas to talk about.

And I’m prospecting!!! I started chatting with a few people and I’m keeping track of my conversations. There are a lot of people who don’t respond (the messages go into the “other” box), but I end up with a few conversations at the same time. I don’t have a ton of time during the day to chat forever, but I’m working on a rhythm that works for me. I’ll keep you updated.

Meanwhile, on the home front, we got our first (only?) delivery of Hello Fresh. We got 2 meals as a gift. Our first one was a Thai Pork Basil Stir Fry. Delicious! (even had leftovers) The meal was easy to make and it was super convenient. Expensive, though. I’m thinking this might be helpful at least a few days a week to take out the thought and planning behind what to eat, much less shopping for ingredients. This did take over a half hour to make, but it was still pretty quick.

So, the biggest question on my mind is, how often should I do a solo ad? What should my budget be? As a part-timer with little time, this looks like the best way to go…but of course it costs money.

I have to think about this.

To Your Victory,

Audra

This should be obvious, but I do use affiliate links on some things. I will never recommend something I don’t use myself, and you don’t spend any extra money, but I get a few cents for the recommendation. Hey, don’t hate — duplicate!

    1. Aw that’s too bad. I have some team members getting amazing results. It takes practice: you need good copywriting, a good solo ad provider and trial & error! For a busy person like me, I think this is an option, but there are so many great options out there! 🙂

  1. Hi Audra,
First I would like to say, I thought the “flow” of your article was amazing. The way you transitioned each point was first class writing!
I also believe you brought forth another great point I was considering in one of your comments.
The results you received is NOT because you placed a Solo Ad. But, due to good Copywriting, a good Solo Ads PROVIDER (some move for you some don’t) and trial and error.
I am looking forward to checking out your upcoming training you spoke of…
