So I’ve been a busy bee. I have done next to zero housework, which is bad.

But — I’ve been faithfully following 1,000 people on Twitter a day, and unfollowing as many (for those who aren’t following me). I’ve talked about my Twitter strategy before here.

I have created and scheduled some posts on my Facebook business page (through Facebook) and my personal page (though Hootsuite – I have the free version).  Some folks think using tools like Hootsuite to schedule posts negatively affects you, but this lady here doesn’t have the time to write posts on the fly. So Hootsuite it is!

I’ve written blog posts. Like this one.  🙂

I have written ideas on Facebook Lives I want to do, and I actually did one! I’m still not comfortable in front of the camera, but I’m just doing it, regardless of how I feel. Honestly, I don’t have a huge FB Live audience yet, but I will. I know one thing I need to do is to do them on a regular schedule so people will expect it, but I honestly don’t have the time for that. My evenings can be unpredictable with the little ones.

I have yet to schedule that solo ad! I promise I will do it.

I have started prospecting! No great news yet, but in between following FB folk and making friend requests, I have actually started reaching out and saying hi — beginning the process. I am not super comfortable, but again — I know that I have to do them and get good. I am afraid of “ruining” a “good prospect”…have you ever thought that?  Well, I found a solution. I am prospecting “low quality leads”.

Now, let me explain what I mean by that. There are FB groups that are solely there for advertising your network marketing company. People come in there, drop an ad, and then go. This is not the most effective way of marketing your business. I’m in those groups and the posts I put in are NOT that….but I digress.

These folks have not been “qualified”. Many just want a to make money quickly. They are into get rich quick with very little money. So not the best of prospects. I figure that if I make a ton of mistakes with them, then I can get better at my conversations without ruining an excellent, qualified lead.

Let me be clear that I was making a general statement and not all people in those groups are into get rich quick cheap. I’m in that group and I’m not! LOL But the large majority are. And hey, if I get some sales and can help teach people how the business really is, then win-win!

So the prospecting has begun. Wish me luck. 🙂

To Your Victory,

Audra

This should be obvious, but I do use affiliate links on some things. I will never recommend something I don’t use myself, and you don’t spend any extra money, but I get a few cents for the recommendation. Hey, don’t hate — duplicate!

  1. The biggest thing in reaching your goals is taking that first step which you have done! Great job! I like how you are not making excuses but continue to move forward with things you know you should be doing like prospecting. I learned a while ago that the number one income producing activity you can do is prospect.

    1. It really is! And its taking me time to get comfortable, but just as I’m pushing myself to do these videos, I’m pushing myself to prospect too. No prospecting = no business!
