I had posted earlier that we made grilled salmon for dinner. My husband specifically told me not to get wild salmon, because he thought it was too dry. Granted, the first time I made it, it didn’t go over too well. I learned that when you get naturally raised food (e.g. wild salmon, grass-fed beef), you have to take into consideration that it will have less fat and taste a little different. Did you know that farm raised salmon is higher in fat (specifically, the not-as-good for you Omega 6) and contaminants? In any case, since I didn’t want to mess up another meal and we were having friends over, I opted to buy the farm-raised.
But this time I tried something different with my recipe. Grilled salmon does not take a long time to make, and it’s my go-to meal when I need to make a quick dinner. It came out amazing! I’m buying the wild next time and using this recipe, which contains plenty of fat. Maybe the wild will taste better then. I posted the recipe below. I completely forgot to take a picture. Oops. Well anyway, try it. Let me know what you think.
I wish you wealth, health, & a happy home! 🙂
